St. Ann CYO and Men’s Club is once again honored to sponsor the parish summer cabbageball program. This program is intended to be an adult supervised, recreational summer activity for the children of all St. Ann Parishioners and friends of our parish that are entering Kindergarten through 7th grades during the 2017-18 school year. The game teaches the fundamentals of baseball/softball and introduces the children to the rules of cabbageball. The program is intended to be a “FUN” family experience for all those participating, both children and parents. We encourage all parents to come and cheer their children and their teams as they play, and to assist as on-field coaches and team assistants!
The cabbageball games will start Thursday, June 6th and run through June 29th (weather permitting). Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights in the St. Ann schoolyard. Grade-based teams comprised of boys and girls will play games which last about 45 minutes. The series will end with a league party on Thursday, June 29th.
If you are interested in volunteering to be an on-field coach please complete the coach's section of your child's registration.
The cost is $30.00 for the first child in the family and $20.00 for each additional child, which includes their shirt, weekly treats, equipment, awards and end-of-season party.
