Our 6-10 year old program gives an early start for homeschoolers using exciting, fun and hands-on methods to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM). Students will be engaged by in learning about a broad range of subjects including the physics of machines, the science of creating contraptions, the engineering involved in all things, math that can be found in the world and art as it relates to technology and science.
This Fall join us as we journey into space to explore the physics of gravity, the excitement of the solar system and discover how to best design machines to float through the atmosphere.
Our small class sizes and access to technical tools allow students to explore STEAM in a collaborative environment. In addition, our highly trained teen mentors are great science role models as they work with young students and share their love of all things STEAM. Whether students are problem solving, studying cause and effect, motion and energy or the engineering design process, they are bound to find new friends who share the common bond of being a nerd... and maybe even driving a robot.
Classes will be on Fridays from 1:30-3 pm
