Arrive 30 Minutes Early It is expected by Everyday California to be inside the store at least 30 minutesto check-in before your tour. Plan ahead to allow plenty of time to get there and find parking in La Jolla. Or, walk together from Kellogg Park to Everyday California less than 10 minutes away.
Do I need to be an experienced Kayaker? No experience is required to come on a tour! Everyday California has had everyone from children 7 years old to senior citizens who are first-time kayakers come out and have a blast on a guided group tour.
Everyday California’s Double Kayak Tours. Kayaking is the best way to see the world famous La Jolla Caves. All guided group kayak tours are for two people in a kayak and will take you through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve to the 7 La Jolla Sea Caves. If conditions are safe they will help guide your kayak into the Emerald Cave.
Meeting at Everyday California for Kayaking. After checking in 30-45 minutes before your tour, you will meet up with your guide at Everyday California. Then your group will head down the street to the beach at La Jolla Shores. After some quick safety instructions, you will get in your two-seated kayak with your partner and head out towards La Jolla Cove with your experienced guides. If you don't have a partner, we will partner up.
Original Snorkel Tour of La Jolla. Looking for a way to enjoy the water and go searching for marine life? Come snorkel in Southern California’s coolest Underwater Park! You will snorkel on your group tour from the Everyday California beach area with your guide pointing out marine life as you go.
What is included on a Snorkeling Tour? Tours include a mask, snorkel, fins and life jacket. You can rent a wet suit at the store if desired. State regulations require you do need to be comfortable in the water and be a good swimmer if snorkeling. No snorkel experience is required.
Everyday California Tour Guides. Everyday California has experienced and highly trained guides to lead you and your group on the tour. Each guide has extensive knowledge of the La Jolla Ecological Reserve and La Jolla Caves and is trained in water safety, first aid and CPR.
Will I see Sea Life on a Snorkel Tour? Among the sea life regularly seen on tours are Sea Lions, harmless Leopard Sharks, Seals, Cormorants, Pelicans, Sea Gulls, Garibaldi, Dolphins and many other types of fish; and can vary.
Disclaimer. No refunds will be given if you are late and miss your tour. If you have to cancel, you may transfer your spot to have someone take your place. No refunds. If the waves are too high Everyday California will cancel our tours and issue us a refund minus card fees. The weight limit for each kayak is 425lbs. **IMPORTANT - Allow plenty of time to park and be at Everyday California a minimum of 30 MINUTES before your group tour. Or, walk together from Kellogg Park 10 minutes from the store.**
