Join Southington Youth Services and the Southington Police Department for an informative E-Bike Safety & Compliance Seminar designed to help young riders and their families understand how to ride safely and responsibly.
Participants will learn about Connecticut’s e-bike laws and regulations, e-bike classifications, helmet and safety equipment requirements, safe riding practices, and the rules of the road. The Southington Police Department will also review common safety concerns, proper equipment, and what riders should know before heading out on the road or bike path.
This seminar is a great opportunity for riders and parents to ask questions, learn about local requirements, and make sure they are prepared for a safe and enjoyable e-bike experience.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
There is no cost for attending this seminar but participants must pre-register.
