Open House Overview
Premier Fencing Alliance will be hosting a fencing demo and Open house on August 26th and August 28 for homeschooled students. Children ages 7-18 and their families are invited to come and learn about this exciting Olympic sport.

About Our Homeschool Program
Our homeschool program allows homeschool students a chance to experience an exciting an Olympic sport! The program includes one 90-min. class covering the basics of fencing footwork and bladework with targeted exercises to develop the muscle groups and skills necessary for fencing. Class begins with warm-up and footwork. We then transition into blade work and open fencing time. Fencers have the option of taking a private lesson with one of our coaches. Each class lasts for 8 weeks. Cost ranges from $85-$327 per 8 weeks depending on level of participation.
About the Coaches
Audrey Barroso
Coach Audrey is the founder and Owner Of Premier Fencing Alliance. She has over 17 years of fencing experience. As competitor she was nationally and internationally ranked in both Junior and Senior. In 2006 she was the Junior Pan American Champion, taking gold in both the individual and team events. She earned a scholarship to Temple University where she was elected Team Captain. Before starting Premier Fencing Alliance she worked at the North Atlanta Fencing Center. She is currently the head coach of the Lassiter High School fencing team.
Dimitri Kirk-Gordon
Coach Dimitri Kirk-Gordon has over 19 years of competitive fencing experience. He has competed nationally and internationally in countries across the world and has competed in the highest level tournaments in the world. He began his fencing career in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of ten. within his first year he attained both regional and national success. At 14 he moved to San Jose, California where he trained at Stanford University. At 16 he became a member of the United States Cadet and Junior national team. He also represented the United States in the world championships in Antalya, Turkey where he placed 5th place in the Cadet World Championships. At 17 and 18 he continued to represent the United States in Trapani, Italy and Plovdiv, Bulgaria. At the age of 20 he earned a scholarship to fence for The Ohio State University. He began coaching five years ago in Decatur, Georgia. Dimitri is currently the Head Coach of Premier Fencing Alliance. His students have achieved numerous regional accolades, and have gone on to compete at the national championships.
